How Lancashire kept the Cup
The Last days of Knurr & Spell in the North of England. Taking advantage of living near three former champion players the producers of this film started filming the ancient sport of Knurr and Spell in 1993 and suceeded in recording in some detail the intricacies of the game and the equipment used to play it. From over an hour of footage this short film has been made to introduce the game to a wider audience. Unfortunately we were too late to record the atmosphere attending matches in the heyday of the game and so included the contestants vivid memories.
