Southdown / Stagecoach Leyland National, Worthing 1989
Southdown Leyland National in service in Worthing, 1989. The 203 was a 50 minute circular route from the town centre, along Tarring Road, and to Durrington in a zig-zag pattern, returning back down Tarring Road to the town centre. This home video of mine was recorded in the month Stagecoach took over. Nothing had changed at this point, except that for some reason we couldn't wear the Southdown uniform, and as the Stagecoach gear hadn't arrived, we could wear what we want! I have more footage from the garage and canteen, and a lot more Worthing stuff which I will add shortly.
