Riding Ultra ➡️ Poaka ➡️ Goat (Featuring a Final Lap Crash) | Whakarewarewa Rotorua MTB POV

Wrapping up another epic lap from Waitangi Weekend 2026 in Rotorua, tackling the ultimate triple link-up: Ultra into Poaka, finishing all the way down Goat! We had an absolute flow going the entire way down, but Goat decided to remind us who is boss right at the very end section. There’s a little log drop right before the exit, and Oliver decided to take the go-around line to play it safe. Unfortunately, the trail had other plans—he clipped his pedal hard on the edge of the log, losing his balance and sending him directly into a crash. It's always the slow-speed, innocent-looking moments that get you when you're tired at the end of a massive run! Thankfully, Oliver shook it off, but it was a proper reminder to stay sharp until you're completely off the dirt. Trail Rating for Average Riders: Trails Run: Ultra ➡️ Poaka ➡️ Goat Pucker Factor: 6/10 (Mostly from watching your mate eat dirt right in front of you) Trail Grade: Grade 4 Technical / Flow Dirt Condition: Fast, dusty holiday weekend dirt 🚴‍♂️ About boringMTBer: Just an average mountain biker uploading thoroughly average trail rides.
