This was one of the most technically challenging songs I’ve made with a ton of wild effects, styles, and tempo changes. When I eventually got around to writing the vocal the song ultimately turned into me trying to find a creative way to represent some of the darker inner dialog that can happen at times, which is why I love 0:44 in particular.
