When I search for security cameras online, I find cheap ones made in Country C. They're cheap, so I'm tempted, but is it really okay to get a security camera made in Country C? Once connected to Wi-Fi, you can watch from anywhere. In Country C in particular, people often watch videos without permission, so I can't trust them. I thought I was protecting my home, but other people can still see the footage, so it's not really a security measure. I bought a slightly more expensive security camera from Tsukamoto Wireless, made in Japan. The camera and monitor are connected directly wirelessly, so they can't connect to the Wi-Fi of the router connected to the internet. This way, the footage won't be leaked to the outside world. However, to keep the cost down, I installed it myself as a DIY project. ● Since it plugs into an outlet, you need to be licensed as an electrician. You can't plug it into an outlet without a license.
