48h CHEZ UN MANGAKA - TOAN - ÉPISODE 1

During the 48-hour period, visit Toan's studio (from Friday, January 12, 2024 to Sunday, January 14, 2024). A total of 18 hours of video were recorded, shot on two different cameras. Of these 18 hours, only 2 remain! Four 30-minute episodes make up the documentary "48 Hours with a Manga Artist." In this first episode, we focus particularly on the creation of a page, inking, speech bubbles, and screentones. In the following episodes, we delve even deeper into the daily life of a manga artist, showing the creation of pages using traditional screentones, and the creation of illustrations in both black and white and color. In this episode, Bonus Toan will be commenting on his artwork from when he was 8 years old to the latest pages of his manga, Run to Heaven.
