On July 6, 2017, the Japanese fighter Kazushi Sakuraba was included in the UFS hall of fame, though he had only two fights there. But the overall contribution of this Japanese, for the entire development of MMA and especially for his country, was simply immeasurable. From a pro-wrestler who fought in the undercard of his mentor Takada, he became a real, national hero and Japan's heritage.
