Episode 15: Oakleaf Troubadours "I'm a Lonesome Fugitive"
Good to see you back, folks. For this episode, we have another video Mr. Jerry shot at the Norman Veterans Center. “I’m a Lonesome Fugitive” is one of our favorites, and it was a big hit for Mr. Haggard back in the late 1960s. Funny story about this song. When the composers, Liz and Casey Anderson, pitched it to Mr. Haggard for his third album, they didn’t know he’d actually spent some time in jail. Take care, and see you next time.
