‘Deep hatred’ for English flag said to be ‘entrenched’ in parts of the UK

‘Triggered with Samara Gill’ host Samara Gill says there is a “deep hatred” for the English flag, arguing it has become “entrenched” in parts of the UK. “There is so much entrenched and deep hatred for the Union Jack and the English flag, you know, many people thinking that the far right has appropriated it,” Ms Gill told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “A flag is something that should unify everything, and if it has been appropriated by a certain group, it should be reclaimed and brought back.”
