Overnight Kayak and Camp on Texas Hill Country River!

This was a much needed overnight kayak and hammock camp on the Upper Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country! Social Distancing concerns due to Covid, combined with near-drought conditions in the Hill County throughout the spring, have kept us off the rivers for far too long. Although we still had relatively low flow (~70cfs at Comfort), we decided to paddle, float, drag or walk our way through the trip! It turned out to be a great trip, with just a few short sections where we had to walk or portage. Mary and Kevin were outfitted with new Wilderness System Radar 115s. Colette was sporting a new Brooklyn Kayak Company boat, while Cady enjoyed her Bonafide Kayak.
