Arturia MicroFreak, Korg Monologue jam - MicroStrings

Here's another long jam (13 minutes) with Arturia MicroFreak playing strings and Korg Monologue doing some solo parts. The MicroFreak is playing back two 64-step sequences with arpeggiated patterns, and through the jam, I vary misc parameters to change the timbre and shape of the strings, from slowly bowed strings to short pizzicatos. Attach, decay and sustain for both envelopes, filter amount for the (non-) cycling envelope, resonance, cutoff, and glide time. The Zoom MS-70CDR's delays transforms the strings from a simple sparse pattern to a more dense rythm. The custom patch on the MicroFreak is really simple, using the SuperWave saw waveform, and letting the cycling envelope (set to one-shot) control the filter cutoff, so I can play with both the amp envelope and the filter envelope independently. The EHX720 looper plays back a reverse loop created with the Speak oscillator on the MicroFreak, recorded through delays and reverb on the Zoom MS-70CDR. The audio is recorded on a Korg KP2S and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on iPhoneX. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 15.
