Crash Bandicoot - N. Sane Trilogy - Platinum Time Trial #27: Stormy Ascent - 2:52:11

Here's the thing. Just getting the platinum really isn't that hard once you know the level. The requirement is 3:10, which leaves a lot of room for mistakes and waiting for platforms and stuff. However, I wasn't just gonna upload a video where I half-ass my way through the level just to get the platinum and clock a 3:09. I wanted a somewhat respectable time, so I had to at least get under three minutes. The main problem I faced was the stairs at 2:25. I kept finding myself stuck at the top step for some reason, so after failing too many good runs at that point, I figured out that the only way I could safely get past it was to simply tap the directional button on that jump. The following platforms are also a pain in the ass, and it was nearly pointless for me to approach them without a mask. I'd say this was a pretty good run, even though it's nowhere near world record material. I wasted a lot of time at 2:42 and onwards, but I failed several runs there too and by now I just wanted to finish. I was actually surprised I got as low as 2:52, as I was expecting more like 2:55.
