More than 1500 young musicians from across the globe gathered in Vienna’s iconic venues, from the Golden Hall of the Musikverein to the @WienerKonzerthaus, and stages including @MuTh, @RadioKulturhaus, and the Kunsthistorisches Museum (@khmwien), bringing music to life in every corner of the city. Experience the thrill of breathtaking performances, from spirited competitions to the mesmerizing Gala Winners’ Concert, alongside workshops in the @MdwAcAt Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Every note, every rehearsal, every shared smile reflects the joy, passion, and international camaraderie that define the festival. Together with @johannstrauss2025 the festival featured a special event this year: the Summa Cum Strauss. Seven orchestras performed a simultaneous Strauss concert in the park of the City Hall. Since 2007, the Summa Cum Laude Festival has been Europe’s premier youth music festival for choirs, orchestras, and bands, proudly held under the auspices of UNESCO and the Austrian Federal President. It’s not just about performing in world-class venues; it’s about building bridges through music, exchanging cultures, and learning from internationally renowned conductors and professionals.
