2025 Kia EV6 // Full Review
The Kia EV6 gets a few updates for its 2025 mid-cycle refresh, including styling tweaks, better lighting, bigger battery options, updated charging, and it's now built in the US, at the Georgia plant. The EV6 now comes standard with a new 63 kWh battery, with the option of a new 84 kWh battery. It's still offered in either single-motor rear drive or dual-motor all-wheel-drive. With the bigger battery, it maxes out at 319 miles of range (in rwd long-range). My tester being a GT-Line AWD, it's rated for 270 miles. It also pumps out 320-hp and 446 lb-ft of torque in this form. One of the biggest updates for this year is that the charge port has been moved to the back, making it much more convenient, especially at Tesla Superchargers. Good news, since the port has also been updated to NACS. Unfortunately, that means you're rate-limited to about 125 kW. Luckily, you can still charge at CCS chargers if you want the full juice of a 350, you'll just need an adapter. If you can find a 350 DC fast charger, you should be able to get from 20-80% in about 20 mins. A level 2 charger at home will get you 10-100% in about 7 hours and 20 mins.
