Is This Asia’s Largest Waterfall? Today, I’m in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, at the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall—one of China’s most iconic scenic spots! Almost every Chinese person has heard of it; it’s even featured in school textbooks! There’s even a cigarette brand named after it (I’ve never tried it, so no idea how it tastes, haha). As I approached the grand waterfall, thunder roared, lightning flashed, and heavy rain poured down. Unfortunately, I couldn’t visit the “Water Curtain Cave,” where you can stand inside a cave behind the waterfall for a close-up view. But the extreme weather added a dreamy, mystical vibe to the scene.
