Even though I missed the rain, the flat lighting of the clouds provided the perfect canvas to capture high-contrast textures, architectural abstracts, and the soul of the Creative Quarter. In this video, I put my trusty Sony Cybershot DSC-HX50 to the test. Despite being a compact travel zoom, this "old but gold" camera handles manual settings and exposure compensation like a pro, allowing me to focus on composition and the "Nifty Fifty" (52mm) focal range. 📍 In this video, we explore: Folkestone Town Centre: Finding geometry in everyday street scenes. Rendezvous Street & The Old High Street: Navigating the steep, cobbled lanes to find unique perspectives. Folkestone Harbour: Capturing the rugged, maritime textures of the coast in B&W.
