ALLT-A-BHAINNE 26 ANOS | ENGARRAFADOR INDEPENDENTE VALE A PENA?

Continuing our tastings straight from Scotland, it's time to try a whisky quite different from what we usually find here: a 26-year-old Allt-A-Bhainne bottled by Murray McDavid. Independent bottlers always offer an interesting experience for those who like to explore the world of single malt beyond the official distillery versions. Often, unexpected profiles, different maturation processes, and completely new interpretations of already known whiskies emerge. In this video, I share my impressions of this label matured in Oloroso and Red Wine Cask Finish casks, discussing its aroma, balance, texture, complexity, and how it behaves in the glass. And there's an interesting point in this tasting: sometimes a whisky can have an excellent aromatic profile, good structure, and still leave that feeling that it could deliver more intensity in the experience. These tastings at the hotel during the trip ended up becoming a true immersion in the world of Scotch whisky. After spending the day visiting distilleries, returning at night and exploring rare and independent labels completely changes the way you analyze what's in your glass. Watch until the end to find out what I thought of this 26-year-old Allt-A-Bhainne from Murray McDavid 🥃 Any questions, leave them in the comments below ⬇️ _________________________________________________ For lighthearted content and tips, follow our Instagram:   / sansonsinglemalt
