A: See yourself through the blood of Jesus as completely forgiven and clean rather than through the memory of past actions—when you look in the mirror, see redemption, not your history, because God sees you as if you've never sinned (2 Corinthians 5:17) and mercy triumphs over judgment, meaning your past cannot define or judge you in Christ. Transforming Through Repentance ✨ Q: What's the difference between feeling sorry and true repentance? A: True repentance means turning from sin and turning to truth by declaring "This is never who I'm going to be again" and allowing actual change to happen, not just experiencing worldly regret that leads to death—godly sorrow leads to repentance and a change of life (2 Corinthians 7nces. Breaking Free from Shame 💬 Q: How can I overcome shame from past choices that's affecting my health? A: Practice confessing faults to one another and praying (James 5) because shame from past choices, not the choices themselves, can kill you—give others a chance to love you since forgiveness equals healing and healing equals forgiveness, and your only fight is believing you're righteous in God's sight rather than carrying condemnation. Denying Self-Centeredness ⚡ Q: What does it practically mean to deny yourself and take up your cross? A: Give up the lie of self-centeredness to embrace living surrendered and one with God through the Holy Spirit—this means recognizing your life is not your own and living the Beatitudes in Matthew, which are impossible without the Holy Spirit inside you and grace working effectually, transforming you from demanding what you deserve into becoming a giver of life like the master in Matthew 18 who forgave a massive debt.
