Rain stops play - Quadlock alternative? Motorcycling through beautiful Autumnal scenery

Welcome folks, in late October 2025 I thought I'd take a ride out for the day from my home in the Chilterns to Bourton-in-the-water in the Cotswolds... spoiler alert I gave up due to the rain, but had a nice ride nonetheless on my Triumph Bonneville T100 through some stunning Autumnal scenery. I wanted to continue using my old Samsung Galaxy S8 (without a SIM) for navigation purposes, but placing it in the clear phone window on my tank bag hadn't worked well. I looked into the very popular Quadlock system but decided it was too expensive for what it was (yep, I'm a cheapskate). I found a potential solution in UltimateAddOns tough case and associated bracket. So it was a good opportunity to see if it performed at all, would I be able to see the route and as it transpires if it worked in the rain. I still hope to get to Bourton-on-the-water but the weather has turned very wet. I'm not worried about riding in the rain, but don't like to drip water into cafes at breaks during the day... well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! Hoping you can "Like" the video, as this does help the channel. All my best wishes, thanks again for watching, bye for now!
