At 37(ish) weeks pregnant, I’m feeling very ready to meet our baby girl, so I spent this week sewing some sweet, soft pieces for her arrival! In this video, I make a bubble romper out of double cotton gauze, a crossover top and gusset pant set from ultra-soft two-layer knit, a bonnet, two stretchy beanie hats, and a pair of tiny newborn mittens. These are all part of our nesting prep as she’ll be sharing a bedroom with her very excited five-year-old sister. We’re getting so excited for her arrival, and it feels so special to make a few things by hand before she’s here.
