In addition to her work on the hit show, Pixie has presented various shows including Freaky Eaters for BBC 3, Channel 4’s Food Hospital and Health Freaks. Pixie co-presented You Should Really See a Doctor for RTÉ Television, The series followed several patients as they went on a journey to discover their true diagnosis. She also fronted Pixie’s Sex Clinic (RTÉ Television) – the first Irish TV series dedicated to education in sex, sexual health and behaviour, all with a healthy dose of tongue in cheek and playful winks. Dr. Pixie’s sequence of child development books with Igloo Books kicked off with the first of the series ‘Dr Pixie’s First Foods’ in January 2016. Including over 100 healthy meals for weaning your baby. Her second book ‘Dr Pixie’s Meal Planner’ focuses on how to plan and prepare effortless, balanced meals for growing children. In addition she also released two sets of Flashcards ‘Activities You And Your Baby Will Love’ and ‘Activities You And Your Toddler Will Love’. ABOUT DR DAWN Dr Dawn has been an NHS doctor for over 30 years and currently works in General Practice in Gloucestershire. She splits her week between clinical practice and working on all platforms of the media. Her ability to simplify complex medical issues has made her an extremely sought-after medical commentator and expert. Dawn is perhaps best known as one of the presenters on Channel 4’s hit series ‘Embarrassing Bodies’ and ‘Embarrassing Bodies: Live From The Clinic’. ‘Embarrassing Bodies’ ran for seven hugely successful years and is currently running on Discovery Channels and in 120 countries across the world. Her other shows include Fat Family Tree and Born Naughty for Channel 4 and she has recently filmed some documentaries for Channel 5, due to be aired later this year. She is regularly asked to join various television and radio channels to comment on topical health stories and writes for several magazines. Dawn has authored 12 books, her latest, published by Headline is “Live Well to 101” which looks at all the factors influencing healthy longevity.
