The Cost of Nepotism: How Recruitment at SPSC Shapes Sindh’s Governance and Youth Unemployment

The Sindh Public Service Commission was established to ensure merit-based recruitment into public service, yet it has long faced allegations of irregularities, political interference and lack of transparency. Over the years, examination controversies, court interventions and growing public distrust have deepened frustration among Sindh’s educated youth. This panel discussion examines how flawed recruitment practices affect employment opportunities, public sector efficiency and young people’s faith in state institutions.
