How to run your vehicle on vegetable oil

I was being asked by a lot of people how I run my Land rover on veg oil, so I made a video guide. BEFORE PROCEEDING PLEASE CHECK MANUFACTURES GUIDELINES ON USING VEG OIL IN YOUR VEHICLE. MY vehicle is Land Rover 300TDI. Instructions 1. Acquire some waste oil. 2. Let crap and fat settle at the bottom of container usually about 2 weeks. 3. Drill a hole above fat and crap line and drain clean oil into a clean container. 4. Start to filter oil through bags. First 100 micron or 50 micron, second 20 micron or 10 micron, Third 5 micron or 1 micron. 5. When oil is filtered mix 50/50 with diesel. 6. In the UK you can use 2400 litres of veg oil per year legally, But you must keep diesel receipts. 7. Carry spare fuel filter and diesel just in case your filter blocks from dirt in fuel lines. 8. If you can buy clean veg oil from the supermarket you don’t need to filter it just mix with diesel. 9. Only wash filter bags when flow is restricted through bags, clean with soap in a bucket first then in a washing machine.
