The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Michael O'Connell launched Cork's New Song: 'The Barracka Buttera Song' on Friday, October 1st 2010 in the City Hall at the 'Heritage Festival - Celebrating Cork Past - The Lord Mayor's Community Heritage Concert ' which is supported by Cork City Council and Cork Lions Club. This unique song celebrates two of Cork's great Brass and Reed Bands - The Barrack Street Band & The Butter Exchange Band.
