Namibia is receiving flash floods in the northern part of the country. The Directorate of Education, Arts and Culture in the Ohangwena Region suspended teaching at Onghala and Shingunguma Primary School as the flood waters are reportedly rising in the area. A total of 6 schools have been affected by the floods The Chairperson of the Regional Disaster Risk Management Committee in the Ohangwena Region spoke on the floods in the region.
