Much of the defense cross-examination of Zavala County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Joe Vasquez in Adrian Gonzales' trial today focused on the law enforcement concept of a "fatal funnel." Gonzales is a former school district police officer accused of 29 counts of child endangerment for not trying to stop the gunman who killed 19 students and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24, 2022.
