Automating adoption: Scorecards for service owners | PlatformCon 2023

Learn how to automate the adoption of platform components with scorecards. This feedback loop is directed at service owners to help them understand how their service measures up to the current standards, and how to improve their posture. As platforms grow and mature, it becomes critical to know how new features and capabilities are being adopted. Service scorecards are a way to give feedback about the current state of a service compared to the current best practices of the platform. This gives platform owners metrics on adoption and service owners a self-service guide on how to change their services to be up to current standards. In this talk, we'll share how we built a scorecard framework for analyzing services against best practices, automated rolling out changes, and where we are planning to take it next.
