We’ve kept you waiting long enough! The BIG update is finally here & we’re just getting started! Our beloved “The Rotten Egg” EH2 Civic Si project has been a bit of slow grind. In between the other builds, events & life, we only get a few small pockets of time to chip away at miscellaneous things with the car. Initially, we intended to focus primarily on revamping the worn suspension. We started off by changing the torn RTA bushings for Whiteline polyurethane replacements, upgrading to S3 Suspension Street/Track Coilovers & replacing OEM pieces for a Megan Racing adjustable rear camber kit & adjustable toe arms. With the help of OEM PLUS, we also were able to knock out some maintenance & give the car a quick alignment to make the car drive decent again. As time passed, it became more & more evident that the exposed bare metal surfaces would be prone to rust & it was time to make some big moves. The EG Civic took its first road trip across the border to Tijuana & would spend some time there while the folks at Colima Auto Body Shop got to work.
