Newport 300 - Reenactment 2022
Newport 300 - Reenactment This is the story of Newport, Co. Mayo from 1720 to 1905 as told through three scenes from the Quakers to the Cathach to the Carey-Walsh emporium. This reenactment was performed on the streets of Newport by the Newport 300 Reenactment Group for the 300th anniversary of the town. The reenactment took place in May 2022, delayed two years due to the events of 2020.
