The robot performs well on hard floors and thin carpets but because of the reduced climbing ability, it can't handle medium and high-pile carpets. Other than that this is the best robot vacuum on the market for ~$400. The Roborock S5 Max is the best value for those who want the best pickup ability on carpet and also a great performance on hard floors. Because of the big electronic water tank, the Roborock S5 Max can get rid of some stains outperforming other Roborock vacuums.
