What we have here is a should rig set up with Zeiss CP2 lenses. We got an Arri matte box. We’re running a Teradek for wireless monitoring, and we have a Bartech for wireless focus. The Blackmagic production 4K camera has a Super 35 mm sensor that comes with global shutter. This eliminates rolling shutter that you would normally see from DSLRs. It also has 12 stops of dynamic range. The Blackmagic records in UltraHD 4K and HD with ProRes 422 codecs. It also has a 6G SDI output for uncompressed 10-bit 422 video. To get the highest quality and the most post-production out of this camera, I would suggest recording in the visual lossless compressed cinema DMG RAW format. This uses every pixel from the sensor, and gives you the most flexibility for your final export.
