Holy Saturday, Burning of Masks, a day of liberation and fulfillment of vows and offerings dedicated to the Passion of Christ by the Yaqui Pharisees. Held at the Ramada Revolución Yaqui Tribe in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Lent 2023. This documentary was created based on sources and theses found online and direct observation. Created with respect and love for Yaqui tradition. I am not an anthropologist; there is a vast difference between my expertise and what is published.
