In 1881, the first plans for a horse-drawn tram were drawn up, roughly following the route of today's Line 1. After these plans fell through, newer designs were implemented in 1893. From August 27, 1895, it was possible to travel through Bratislava by tram. We present today's lines, the rolling stock as of 2022, and some sights along the route. Motor car 26 from Jena has been redesigned! On May 20, 2022, it invited visitors to ride along at the Jena Museum Nights. Three former Eisenach motor cars still exist today! We'll briefly introduce you to these cars and, at the old depot, commemorate the tram that was decommissioned in 1975.
