Acrylic Painting My Fan Art Moro From Princess Mononoke | Relaxing Music, Painting, and Cat Friends

In 2023 I painted my first Studio Ghibli fan art; Haku from Spirited Away. That canvas came in a two pack. The second canvas was going to be the lilac forest from The Last Unicorn, but I never liked the purples. Fast forward to 2025 and I realized that a dragon and a wolf with the same sky background would look very nice together. Inspired, I used references of Moro from Princess Mononoke and arctic wolves to loosely blend anime with realism and many many shades of tan and while acrylic paint. I didn't film every time I set up to paint this one because it honestly was a distraction and added time to setting up to paint. I loved every part of crafting this painting. I spent 9 months working on it. As a tribute to how much I loved painting this one, I did not speed up the painting sections in this video. I left in the imperfections of filming under ceiling fan lights and pauses as I added paint to my brush.
