1972 Cadillac window motor replacement

We remove an interior door panel, window glass and power window regulator in order to replace a bad power window motor. Then we put it all back together again and IT WORKS! It is a difficult 2 person job. Watch the video all the way to the end because you'll learn an important lesson about marking the bolts so they go back in the correct holes (HINT: They all look alike, but they're all different sizes - thanks GM Engineering!) ***NOTE: After posting this video, we were made aware of the instructions in the Fisher Body Manual. The manual suggests drilling three 3/4-inch holes in the inner door panel to access the motor bolts and remove the motor without taking the glass and tracks out. Not only does that permanently ruin the door panel, but it adds a couple of hours to the job and increases the chances of amputating your fingers, leaving your secondary horn disabled. Okay, the secondary horn thing (middle finger) might just be a Chicago thing, but still: Thanks GM Engineering! If anyone wants to ship us a door, we'll try it on your car.
