Talking about Phragmipedium besseae
This orchid was one of the most wanted in the 80's, Phragmipedium besseae at that time was not so easy to see it in the nature because the habitat was 1 day walking in the jungle and a real adventure to get there. Nowadays you can find it in several habitats of Phragmipedium besseae in Ecuador and Peru not far from the road, some times even a meter from the road. At Ecuagenera we have artificially propagate several forms of this species, Phragmipedium besseae grows very easy at our greenhouses. Please leave your comments, we will be happy to answer them.
