🚨🔥 Weekly release – Old Time Something Come Back Again Vol.22 🔥🚨 This week, Jah Golden Throne Records pays tribute to one of the most iconic reggae foundations ever recorded: the legendary NO NO NO (YOU DON'T LOVE ME) RIDDIM. 🎶🔥 Let’s get the history right 👇 👉 It all started in 1967, when Dawn Penn recorded "You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)" at Studio One, produced by Clement Coxsone Dodd. The song itself was a Jamaican adaptation of Willie Cobbs's 1961 blues classic "You Don't Love Me", itself inspired by Bo Diddley's "She's Fine, She's Mine" (1955). 👉 The riddim became a rocksteady foundation, spawning countless classic cuts over the decades, including versions by Big Youth, Prince Jazzbo, Ranking Toyan, Ken Boothe and many more. 👉 In 1994, King Jammy revived the riddim with the World A Respect version, while Steely & Clevie produced Dawn Penn's international smash "You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)", turning the song into a worldwide reggae anthem once again. 🔥 For Vol.22, Marshall Neeko faithfully recreates the feel of the legendary 90s version, while the entire JGT crew brings fresh vocals to one of reggae's most beloved riddims.
