WATERCOLOR HYDRANGEA | How to approach a COMPLEX PAINTING like FLOWERS | Using Daniel Smith

H E L L O E V E R Y O N E ! ! ! In this watercolor tutorial I’ll be painting a hydrangea. This is a flower you can easily find during the Japanese summer, and after finding many of them anytime I walk on the street, I thought it would be nice to do a painting about it! On this video I’ll show you how I did the painting from scratch, as well as talking a little bit about how to approach a complex subject in a painting without feeling overwhelmed. M A T E R I A L S: I used Daniel Smith watercolors, and these are the colors: -Rich Green Gold (PY129) -Quinacridone Rose (PV19) -Phtalo Blue Green Shade (PB15:3) -Phtalo Turquoise (PB15:3, PG36) -Sap Green (PO48, PG7, PY150) In regard to the paper, I used a sketchbook with Canson Montval 300 gr. paper. I think that’s all, if you want to know anything else please let me know about it in the comment section! Also don’t forget to like this video if you found it useful and consider subscribing!
