In front of the restaurant, several workers were seen busy removing parts of the building. They were removing the glass doors of the three-story building. The demolition was carried out independently by the business owner during the Makassar City Government's demolition. The building, which sits directly on top of the drainage channel, was demolished to restore the function of the water channel, which had been blocked by permanent construction. Coto Dewi utilizes approximately 2 meters of public facilities to support her business. The drainage channel, which was supposed to function as a drainage channel and flood control channel, was covered with concrete and then incorporated into the building area.
