5’9 Girl Goes OFF at Dunk Camp 2026! World Record Jump?!

This was an unforgettable week at Dunk Camp 2026! After starting the week with a low rim session, I decided to switch things up after my 10-foot attempts weren’t feeling the best. The low rim session ended up being one of my favorite sessions yet. I got to try a bunch of new dunks, including throwing down a ton of wings on 8 feet and experimenting with new dunks. It was such a fun day and a great way to keep progressing! After taking Tuesday and Wednesday to rest, it was time for the 8-foot dunk contest. I was the only girl competing in the entire competition and the entire camp which made it such a cool experience. I was able to land a scorpion and a WIN in the contest, two of my favorite dunks, and advance into the finals. In the finals, I attempted a double elbow dunk on 8 feet, something I had never made before, and I was able to make it happen! For my second dunk, I went for a windmill elbow, another dunk I had never done. I didn’t end up landing it, and I probably could have placed higher with a safer dunk, but I didn’t want to leave with regrets. I wanted to push myself, try something new, and give myself the best chance to win. After the contest, we got to watch an insane dunk show where a new box jump world record was broken! The previous record was recently set at 67 inches, and it was incredible to watch someone jump 67.5 inches and make history. The next day, we went to the Utah Dunkers dunk session, which was an awesome experience and so much fun to watch.
