Quadratic Residue Diffuser (QRD) Explained
Diffusion in Acoustics is the even spreading of sound energy in a given environment. A perfectly diffuse sound space is the one where sound appears to be coming from all directions. An absorptive or reflective space can be converted into a diffusive space with the help of a diffuser, the most common one being the Quadratic Residue Diffuser (QRD).
