Mitsubishi fireman & service lifts at Berjaya Times Square(West), serves up to 45/F
UPDATE (August 2023): This lift has its speed increased to 3.5m/s as of this date shown above. A 4K retake of this video is possible if I manage to come here again. 5 Jun 2023 2:57pm - Here is a high-rise Mitsubishi service/fireman lift at Berjaya Times Square, located at West zone (near hotel lobby entrance at G floor). It serves all floors within this building, that includes basement carpark floors B1 to B5, retail/mall floors LG, G, 1 to 10, all the way up to the guestroom floors (hotel part) 17 to 43, P(44) and 45. It also serve a mezzanine "M" floor (see floors served below). This is the only lift that serves floors 16 and 45, which isn't served by main hotel lifts). Just like in the main hotel lifts, floor 15 is the highest you can only access without a keycard. This keycard reader is mostly used by staff workers to get to their desired floor. In addition, passengers somehow can use this lift to go to their desired mall floors. About the lift itself, this is a Mitsubishi GPM-III which is the same as the main hotel lifts. This lift only goes at 2.5m/s (same as the lifts that serves B5 to 14) which is quite slow for this type of floors/height. The capacity is the same as the main hotel lifts, but the difference is the cab size because it's longer than the main hotel lifts. The fixtures are the same as the main hotel lifts, but the difference is the car floor indicator is only displayed on the right side of the panel with floor buttons, while the left side has floor buttons only. The hall panel uses black square buttons with vertical floor indicator that is applied on all floors. To film this lift is either easy to hard, due to this lift is heavily used by staff workers with "large" loads and I might have less room/space to film it. And I've waited quite long for this lift to arrive and it can be very busy at certain times. Luckily, when I attempted to go down to 3rd floor from 15, I rode further up to 39 because someone called on that floor (who wants to go down to 9, same as another passenger called on 20). 【Lift specifications】 Infrastructure • Brand: Mitsubishi • Manufacturer: Mitsubishi • Installed and maintained by: Mitsubishi Elevator Malaysia Sdn.
