Fr. Andrew Apostoli founded the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal community in 1988 in the Archdiocese of New York. In 1995 Sr. Lucille Cutrone, C.F.R., who was one of the original-founding members, is presently the Community Servant. (Superior) The aim of the Community is to live the Gospel values in simplicity according to the ideals of Saint Francis as handed on by the Capuchin tradition. The age limit for entrance is 35 years old; no college degree Is necessary.
