SF Muni 2018 New Flyer XDE60 #6687 on Route L-Bus

This is the third day of the tunnel closure. Muni decided to put some of the 2018 XDE60s from Islais Creek that have not been in service before on the L-Bus. 6687 is one of those, and has a new bus smell. I recorded some buses at 19th and Taraval while waiting for the bus to come. I took this bus to Church and later took an F to Van Ness Station for some railfanning. That video is coming soon as well as other videos from June 27. The Twin Peaks Tunnel was closed for construction from 6/25/18-8/24/18. While that was happening, the K-Ingleside line used trains from St. Francis Circle to Balboa Park Station and continued as a J-Church to downtown. The L-Taraval and M-Ocean View lines used bus shuttles that went to Church Station. The bus shuttles have special announcements that tell you routes you can transfer to.
