Antiphospholipid syndrome, also called APS for short, is an autoimmune condition which affects blood clotting in the body. APS can cause blood clots in the body in addition to non-blood clotting symptoms such as migraines, balance issues and seizures. Recently, APS has been studied in people with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).
