What a weekend at the Ape Meet in Goldenstedt 2026! Despite the mixed weather, an incredible number of Ape fans visited us at Hartensbergsee. Our first outing took us to the Frilling farm, where we gained fascinating insights into miscanthus cultivation. An interesting farm tour and cold drinks made the stop perfect. Our second outing led us to the House in the Moor. We took the peat railway through the beautiful Goldenstedt Moor – a real highlight for all participants! Another special highlight was the work of Thorsten and Matthias (Little Buddah), who tackled the engine of Emma (Ape P2) right there on the spot. With great dedication and patience, they replaced the engine and did everything they could to get her running again – a truly impressive feat!
