In the community of La Lima, located in the coastal mountain range of Intipucá, La Unión, dozens of families face a threat that jeopardizes decades of history, work, and deep roots: the possibility of being evicted from the lands they have inhabited for generations. While a private individual claims ownership of more than 80 acres of land, the women of the community are leading a fight to defend their homes, their crops, and the territory that sustains their way of life.
