Kayaking the Hudson River's Most Iconic Landmarks + Bonus URBEX

Join me as I paddle the Hudson River in Tarrytown, NY to the Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse, the Concrete Erie Canal Boat, and the Tappan Zee Bridge (or is it the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge?). I also take a short excursion to explore an abandoned building nearby. The Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse built in 1883 and was used until the mid-1960s. Over the course of 78 years, 12 light keepers and their families lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse recently underwent a $3.4 million restoration and it's amazing to see how beautiful it is. The Concrete Erie Canal Boat is 1 of 21 total barges that were built throughout 1918 and 1919. The boats were made entirely out of reinforced concrete, other than interior living quarters. Many of these sunken barges can be located at different locks throughout the Erie Canal, this one just happens to be right off the coast of Memorial Park in Nyack. __________________________   / twofeetoutdoors   Buy Me a Coffee https://www.buymeacoffee.com/twofeeto... __________________________ Music by: bensound.com Artist: Benjamin Tissot License code: SLKNQS4GNION70BE Music I Use: Bensound.com/royalty-free-music Artist: FoePound License code: GJ5LF0WFTW6TZIBV Music by: https://www.bensound.com Artist: FoePound License code: FTSXUNZSVNIR91LX Music by https://www.bensound.com/free-music-f...
