The carnival of "Bilmawen" in Amazigh, or "Boujloud" in Arabic, is a popular tradition strongly rooted in the history of Morocco and has been acclimatized over the centuries. Still alive, this carnival of masked men wearing goat and sheep skins has a spiritual dimension and carries a multitude of symbolism.
