I'll show you how to use the band pass key filter to set your gates so they only open for the fundamental frequency of the drum. That one setting alone will clean up so much bleed. From there I'll walk through the EQ moves I'm making to cut the boxy midrange and get the toms to actually cut through, plus compression settings that get you close without overthinking it. One thing I really want you to take away from this. You don't have to nail every compressor setting down to the millisecond to get a good drum sound.
